Lutein & Zeaxanthin: are two type of carotenoids, which are yellow to red pigments found widely in vegetables and other plants.
in nature, lutein and zeaxanthin appear to absorb excess light energy to prevent damage to plants from too much sunligth, especially from high rays called blue lights.
It is believed that lutien, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin in the macula block blue light from reaching the underlyiing structures in the retina, thereby reducing the risk of light-induced oxidative damage that could lead to macular degeneration (AMD).
Research published in Archived of Ophthalmology suggest women whose diets include high amounts of lutein, zeaxanthin and other carotenoids have a lower risk of cataracts than women whose diets contain lower amounts of these nutrients.

Lycopene: is a nutrient that holds promise as a wonderful antioxidant. Lycopene belongs to the carotenoid family, which includes beta-cartene, lutein and zexanthin. Like its kin, lycopene intake seems to greatly benefit the body.

Gingko Biloba: the flavonoids found in ginkgo helps stop or reduce degeneration of AMD, is an eye disease that effects the retina. Studies sugges that ginkgo may help preserve vision in those with AMD.

Vit.A, C & E:
are powerful antioxidants, guard the body from damaging effects of free redicals, which are unstable molecules that can destory cells and play a role in many disease.
